There are two key differences compared to the original SIGPRO Golf Mats. The first is the new SIGPRO XL Softy hitting strip insert, which measures 12 inches wide and 48 inches long. The second is the base, which is made from a rubber tile design for added stability.

The SIGPRO XL hitting strip is an expanded version of the popular SIGPRO Softy, offering extra depth for a more immersive practice experience. The XL Softy measures 12 inches wide, 48 inches deep, and 2-3/8 inches high, giving golfers more room to perfect their swings.

If you're not familiar with the innovative design of our Softy hitting strip, here's what sets it apart: After extensive testing and deconstruction of other mats on the market, our design team developed cutting-edge materials and construction techniques to create the most realistic hitting surface. The result? A pain-free, joint-friendly experience that mimics the feel of real grass, eliminating the discomfort and soreness often caused by traditional hitting mats.

New Size, Same Innovative Design

The SIGPRO XL maintains the same innovative design as the original Softy but offers more space for enhanced practice. At its core is a super-soft foam insert, topped with a 1-inch thick layer of Teeline turf that mimics the feel of real grass. This turf provides 100% accurate feedback, whether you're hitting perfect shots or mishits. A thin, responsive layer of ABS polyurethane allows the turf to flex upon impact, then quickly return to its original shape.

Additionally, five compression slots on the bottom of the Softy act as release valves. As the turf compresses at impact, these slots dissipate air pressure, providing a smooth, realistic follow-through without the sharp vibrations often associated with other hitting mats. This design ensures a comfortable and realistic practice experience every time.
