Weave density
A tighter weave gives a sharper, brighter image with less light bleed through the fabric. A looser weave absorbs impact better and lasts longer under heavy use.
- Standard — the entry tier. Good image, honest price, right for occasional home use.
- Preferred — mid-tier. Tighter weave, noticeably sharper projection.
- Premium — the top tier. Multi-layer construction for the sharpest image and the longest life under repeated strikes.
If your simulator is a weekend toy, Standard is genuinely enough. If it's running daily or commercially, the Premium tiers pay back in image quality and lifespan.
White or grey
Grey screens raise perceived contrast in rooms with ambient light — blacks look blacker, and the image holds up when you can't fully darken the space. White gives a brighter overall image in a properly dark room. Choose grey if you can't control the light.
Finished or raw
Finished screens arrive hemmed with grommets, ready to mount with bungees. Buy this unless you have a reason not to.
Raw material is fabric by the yard, for custom builds and non-standard frames. Cheaper per square foot, but you're doing the finishing.
Retractable
If the room does double duty, a retractable screen rolls away when you're finished. The HomeCourse ProScreen 180 and G-TRAK systems handle this without sacrificing image quality.
Bounce-back
Screens need slack to absorb impact. Mount one drum-tight and the ball comes back at you. Every screen here is sized to hang with the right tension — follow the mounting dimensions rather than pulling it flat.
